iX2™ BioSensor

Umbrella Technologies’ iX2™ BioSensor system integrates biochemistry and electronics to alert health care professionals, researchers, scientists, first-responders, pharmaceuticals manufacturers, and others to the presence of toxins, bacteria, viruses, and virtually any target protein in real-time.

Real-time and constant monitoring of biological, chemical and immunological reactions via direct electric signal measurement is the distinguishing feature of the iX2™ BioSensor. Since the mid-90s, Umbrella Technologies has been investing in research and development and product prototyping. The results of our research achieved a new era of sensor technology.
Background
Between 2003 and 2008, Umbrella Technologies designed and developed an advanced biological sensor that has a demonstrated sensitivity level of 3*10^-18  g/ml (3 attograms per milliliter) in real-time (less than 20 seconds). The sensor has been tested on bacteria, spores, viruses and proteins. Since 2009, Umbrella Technologies has been actively developing a new generation of the iX2™ BioSensor for real-time, unbiased, multi-channel, large area bio-sensor technologies. The new design of the iX2™ BioSensor incorporates the latest innovations and discoveries of Umbrella’s unparalleled research team.
Real-time universal detection, identification and quantification platform systems for various applications, products and services in:
  • Human health
  • Animal health
  • Food safety
  • Bio-defense
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Research laboratories
Umbrella Technologies is currently seeking strategic partners to help further implement the iX2™ Sensor technologies.
