From CAD to Cut Metal

CNC Milling Laser Cutting Rapid Proto Custom Fixtures

Precision machining, rapid prototyping, and laser fabrication for R&D projects and production parts. UTI’s machining capabilities exist because developing proprietary hardware requires on-demand precision fabrication — enclosures, fixtures, tooling, and test jigs produced in hours, not weeks from an outside shop. The same machines and operators produce client parts to the same tolerances.

CNC Routing & Milling

Large-format CNC routing for plastics, aluminum, hardwood, and composite materials including carbon fiber and fiberglass laminates. Knee mill capability for ferrous and non-ferrous metals — steel, aluminum, brass, titanium, and high-temperature alloys. Precision tolerances for mechanical assemblies, electronic enclosures, custom fixtures, and structural hardware.

Laser Cutting & Etching

High-power CO2 laser cutting and engraving for a wide material range: wood, plastics, rubber, fiberglass, carbon fiber, fabric, leather, coated metals, ceramics, and anodized aluminum. Full 3D engraving capability for custom panels, labels, and detailed surface work. Used for production parts, R&D fixtures, and prototype enclosures throughout UTI’s technology development process.

The enclosures, sensor fixtures, and mechanical assemblies for UTI’s own production hardware are produced on these machines — not outsourced. Client parts receive the same attention to dimensional tolerance and surface finish that UTI requires for its own hardware.
