Medical Technology

Miniaturized laser Doppler rheology for non-invasive diagnostics, real-time 3D tumor imaging, and integrated precision hyperthermia treatment. Desktop-scale diagnostic capability that today requires room-sized infrastructure.

Micro LDRI™

Catches tumors early and treats them in the same session

Combined diagnostic and therapeutic tool for early-stage soft tissue cancers. Integrates three capabilities: (1) a hypersensitive detector locating cancer cell clusters as small as 0.5 mm (~300 cells), (2) a real-time 3D imaging system for tumor visualization and treatment navigation with 20–30× improvement in detail over CT/MRI, and (3) an integrated non-invasive precision hyperthermia treatment tool guided by the imaging system. Desktop PC-connectable.

CT and MRI detect tumors only at ~1.0 cm. By then, a tumor may have been growing 12–17 years and may already have metastasized. Micro LDRI detects at 0.5 mm, a 400× cross-sectional and 8,000× volumetric improvement, enabling diagnosis and treatment 7–17 years earlier. Distinguishes malignant from benign in situ without biopsy. Less than 1/10th the radiation dosage of conventional methods.

Connects with: UDAQ™ (medical-grade data acquisition), EUCRYPTA™ (encrypted patient data), iX sensors (post-treatment biomarker monitoring)

Markets: Oncology, breast cancer screening, clinical research, remote medicine, developing-world healthcare
